??? 4 Fellow Our New Baby lovers UPDATE

I found an auction but am not 100% positive that this doll is an our new baby. These original dolls had the palms up hands am I right? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

<font color="royalblue">Yes, from what ive learnt on here the "our new baby's" had their palms facing upwards....the one i have the arms sort of "fall" into a backwards position with the palms up when i lay her down - my newer one the arms tend to stay laying reasonably flat by her side...

Maan, im not sure this explanation helps - it even sounds confusing to me....

Ive also noticed the texture of the hair is a good way to tell if they are the older new babys or not..</font>

You guys are so detail oriented! I have both an Our New Baby and a Bitty, and I've never noticed this. But yes, my ONB has palms up hands when laying down. My PM Bitty has one hand palm up and the other by her side. Weird, but that's what it looks like to me. She is stuffed more than my ONB, though, so that could be why.

Yes- we have 2 ONB's and both of them jhave palms up. They also have what I all softer features and the lashes are blonde and seem finer to me. Hope this helps.
